Samsung has been teasing that it will be unveiling the upgraded lines
of Samsung Galaxy J series smartphone in 2016. Today, details regarding
the new smartphone appear to have leaked online from @S_leak on
Twitter. It is said that the Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 smartphone will be entry-level budget device and the successor of the previous Galaxy J1 device.
From the leaked image, it appears like this smartphone is a budget friendly device and it seems to match up with the bits of gossip in regards to the Samsung Galaxy J1 / SM-J120F that were making rounds lately. The device follows the J series design, for example, physical buttons and presence of soft keys carried by the other Galaxy phones. On close observation, there is a front facing camera and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS on the alleged Galaxy J1 2016 and Samsung icons on the front.
Going by the rumors specifications, the smartphone is speculated to arrive with a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 800 resolution and employ a Samsung Exynos 3475 quad-core processor along with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
It is likely to pack in 4GB of internal storage capacity that can be expandable up to 32GB and bagged a 5-megapixel primary rear camera paired with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera sensor. The device is said to be cost around $100 was listed on Zauba some times ago.
